Fruit of the Spirit

But the fruit of the (my spirit) spirit is love,
 joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness,faith, meekness, temperance,
against such there is no law.

Gal 5:22 – 23

In the natural world fruit is a food source,
and this food source was placed on earth for
all of creation to enjoy, and be sustained. In
the biblical sense the word fruit represents
any product of the vine, bush or tree. The
purpose or destiny of each plant is to
produce fruit. Its sole existence is for this
purpose.

Just admire creation for a moment; consider how profound it all is! No-where is life conservative; every plant is abundant in production; so much so there is an overflow. As a matter of fact nature has produced in such abundance that man has had to cut back much of the growth in order to co-exist.

There is much we can learn from nature if only we would observe it; for as the natural goes so does the spiritual.  Not only is man to be fruitful and multiply in the flesh, but there is the responsibility of bearing fruit of the spirit.

The fruit we bear is FOOD for the souls of men, women, children, and any whom our lives may touch.  Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, and anything like these are food for nourishment, growth, and living.

Being ministers of the gospel our true goal is love out of a pure heart.  It's ok to teach on financial success; however this is not our primary goal. Unless we teach first things first; then the rest is useless.  Let us first seek the kingdom of God, and all his righteousness; and this is not based in material things.  These other things without fail will be added if the foundation is in place.

Our real work is to bear fruit, and that mean sometimes even under the most difficult circumstances.  Sometime we must bear fruit around the most difficult people.  Remember in many places there is famine.  This is why you must perpare yourself in the spirit and go; bear fruit and feed the hungry.   This is God's utimate will for you.

Herein is my father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.

st John 15:8
