Men and women are equal. Women are precious and God honors women.
Scripture is often taken out of context and many women turn away from it for this
reason. You need to receive in your heart that you have equal worth.
How do we do this? Look to God and His strength; seek His face always
(Psalms105:4). Blessed are they who seek Him with all their heart. (119:58).
Hundreds of places in scripture tell us to seek God. How do we seek God? God
Himself will guide us, but He also gives us each other. Plans fail for lack of counsel
but with many advisers they succeed. (Proverbs 15:22)
Where should we seek counsel? Women need to seek women. Build a network
of wise women to listen to you or counsel you and participate in the group
consistently. Be sure the members are seeking God. Also be sure that you can
share your life without shame. God will meet you where you’re at.
How will he meet you? Jesus said to her "You are right when you
say you have no husband. The fact is you have had five husbands and the one
your are with is not your husband." (John 4:10). Jesus did not condemn this woman
He forgave her. God will meet you where you’re at. He will embrace you.
He will gently heal your heart. He will give you back your choices.
